Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia, is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Jaya Kuasa Berhad, a public limited company involved in construction, property development and investment.
Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. (HRESB) has three divisions under its businesses, which are, energy development, operations & maintenance engineering and logistics. The company is headed by its Executive Chairman Dato' lndera Syed Norulzaman Bin Syed Kamarulzaman, who is also the Chairman of three publicly-listed companies at the BURSA Saham Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which are OCK Group Berhad, Yong Tai Berhad and Pelikan International Corporation Berhad. The other corporate Directors of HRESB are Tan Sri Datuk Seri Dr. Suleiman Mohamed (Group Chairman), Dato' Setia Dr. JP Tan (Group President) and Mr. Yosafat Bin Yusuf, a businessman from Sulawesi, Indonesia and Low Yee Doo as Financial Director.
Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd., currently owns two subsidiary companies, namely, HRE Kina Biopower Sdn. Bhd., and HRE Seguntor Bioenergy Sdn. Bhd. Both companies are positioned to operate biomass power plants in Malaysia.
HRESB consists of numerous former technical staff, from TNB En Azhar Anas, SESB Mr Charles Dalansing and strategic partners which include SMEC.
In addition to our focus in power generation, HRESB is looking into desalination and currently, has its own Operations & Maintenance Services. HRESB is also focus in the development of new renewable energy sector of small hydro and new biogas power generation opportunities.
