Dato' Indera Syed Norulzaman Bin Syed Kamarulzaman
Dato’ Indera Syed Norulzaman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Malaya. Upon graduation, he joined the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1973 and was assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In September 1994, Dato’ Syed Norulzaman was appointed as Malaysia’s ambassador to Spain where he served for three years. On returning to Kuala Lumpur in 1997, he assumed the post of Undersecretary for East Asia and South Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, prior to his appointment to the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations under the Prime Minister’s Department as it’s Director General in 1999.
In 2001, he was appointed as Malaysia’s ambassador to Thailand till 2005, and Malaysia’s ambassador to China till 2009. Upon his return to Malaysia, Dato’ Syed Norulzaman was appointed as Public Interest Director at the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM), a position he held until August 2012. He is currently the Senior Independent Non Executive Chairman of OCK Group Berhad, a Director of Winnburner Asia Sdn. Bhd and the Chairman of Mah Sing Foundation.
Dato' Setia Dr. J P Tan
Dato' JP Tan graduated with a Master Degree in Constructions Management from University of Wales Science & Technology (UWIST), and obtained his Doctorate in Construction Technology from Pacific Western University.
Upon graduation, he has participated over the last twenty five years in two family owned construction companies, namely TKH Construction Sdn. Bhd. and Jaya Kuasa Sdn. Bhd., both CIDB G7 Contractors. Among the notable projects undertaken include Intan Administrative Centre P.J, Lembaga Letrik Negara HQ - Jalan Lahat Ipoh, MADA HQ - Kedah, Polytechnic Kota Bharu Kelantan, and State Mosque Negeri Melaka. Development Housing Projects includes Taman Fortune- Seremban Negeri Sembilan, Taman Lawa - off Jalan Kuching K.L, Taman Berlian Gombak Kuala Lumpur.
Dato' JP Tan was the founding President of Malaysia Tourism Federation, Global Islamic Tourism Organisation and The United National Children Organisation of Malaysia. He currently helms Hualang Resources Berhad and Jayakuasa Berhad as Group President & CEO. He is also the Joint Chairman for HEBEi - Kuala Lumpur Business Council.
Mr. Lee Keat Hin
Keat Hin graduated with a Bachelors of Accounting (First Class Hons) degree from the University of Malaya, is a Chartered Accountant and Past Governor of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia. He has a wide range of top management experience as well as acting as consultant to a number of public listed and private companies. Among others, he led the turnaround of Ho Hup Construction Company Berhad and Straits Inter Logistics Berhad, both listed on the Bursa Securities Exchange. His experience includes a number of corporate turnaround and restructuring projects of listed companies, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, financing and fund raising exercises, acquisitions and divestments.
Mr. Mohd Hardi bin Abdul Hamid
Mohd Hardi bin Abdul Hamid completed his secondary school at MARA Junior Science College Beseri, Perlis. He then when to do his Diploma in Public Administration at MARA Institute of Technology Lendu, Malacca and subsequently read law at MARA University of Technology Shah Alam, Selangor. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2003.
He joined various legal firms before he decided to cease practice in 2010. While in legal practice his area of practice primarily involving conveyancing, corporate and banking. His experience ranges from real estate, financing, corporate and commercial matters including due diligence, title and procedural land law issues, conventional and Islamic finance, sale and purchase agreement, leases agreement, acquisition of vacant land, obtaining state authority consents and advising joint-venture partners for projects.
Thereafter he joined Protank Group and GOM Resources Sdn. Bhd. as their Legal Counsel. Both companies are specializing in engineering, energy and utilities. He was in charge of their legal department. He has engineering and oil & gas industry experience in strategy, contract, project and procurement.
He also serves as a Director of Valkua (M) Sdn. Bhd. and Leigh Aero (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Mr. Yosafat Bin Yusuf
Yosafat Bin Yusuf is the Director for Global Business Development at PT. Abana Gema Mentari, responsible for business growth and expansion.
Yosafat has had extensive experiences in the fields of finances. His deep knowledge across industries enabled him to understand and hold positions in developing growth structures for various business units and products.
Mr. Azhar Anas
Azhar Anas, aged 52, is the Managing Director of the Integra Group of Companies which he founded to venture into the carbon finance industry, leverage on his extensive project management and project execution experience.
He has more than twenty years experience in the construction and power industries, and more recently has been involved in the carbon finance industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) degree from the University of Houston, Texas, USA. He started his career in the Hydro Projects Department, Tenaga Nasional Bhd., the national power utility company in Malaysia. Subsequently, he moved on to various engineering and project management companies that were involved mainly in power plant and heavy infrastructure development. He is passionate about renewable energy and clean technology and their use to fight against climate change.
He is a member of the Heritage of Malaysia Trust, an NGO devoted to the preservation of Malaysia’s built heritage.
Mr. Raymond Tan
Raymond Tan, aged 55, is a Civil Engineer and had worked on several construction sites as Project Manager for Tan Kok Hua Construction Sdn. Bhd., Associated Builders & Contractors Sdn. Bhd. and also Jaya Kuasa Sdn. Bhd., all of which are Grade G7 Construction Companies and also as Management Coordinator for ESA Jurutera Perunding, an Engineering Consultancy Firm in Bangsar, KL and Operations Manager for Mt Moriah Construction Sdn Bhd. which built its own development, Wangsa Metroview in Wangsa Maju, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur consisting three blocks high-rise apartments, townvillas and commercial shophouses. Under the Mt Moriah Group, he was also the Business Development Manager for 3SY Trading Sdn. Bhd., a construction materials trading house; Lift & Dig Sdn. Bhd., a construction machinery rental company; and, also Quat Concrete Sdn. Bhd., a Ready-mix Concrete Supplier which plant was located in Sri Rampai. He was also the Quality Management Representative for IS09001 for Quat Concrete. The company boss had also took over a College, Kolej Teknologi Perkasa of which he was also involved for 2 years, at its initial stage of development.
He has close to thirty years’ experience in the construction and development industries, and more recently has been involved in the renewable energy industry under Hualang Renewable Energy Sdn. Bhd. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom.
